    Description

    Adorable 13 1/2" Antique Bisque-Head Nippon # 903 Character Child.  I LOVE this doll - she has a chubby little face with a bit of a double-chin.  The head is in great condition, with no damage.  Her markings are:  "FY 903 MB0018 Nippon."  Because of the "MB" in her markings, I'm pretty sure she was made by Morimura Brothers.  She has brown sleep eyes that are very stiff and must be worked by hand.  I did not want to remove the pate to try and adjust them.   Facial color is excellent, and she has an open mouth with 2 upper teeth.  Her replacement human hair wig is in a baby bob that suits her well.   She is on a newer composition body that is jointed at elbows and knees, and is ready to display.   Her sailor dress and slip may be original.  She also has newer high black stockings and black side button boots.   Excellent condition!
