    Description

    Lovely vintage Royal Staffordshire Pottery England, Jenny Lind 1895 design, red transferware bone dish.  Dish is approx 6 3/4" wide.  Dish has no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs.  Beautiful condition, colors are bright and clear.  This makers mark was present in the early 1900s.
    Jenny Lind was a popular print - it was an early 1900's replicas of original ware that was produced in the mid 1800's by the Meigh family of potters at the
    Old Hall Works
    in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. After the closure of the Old Hall Works in 1902 A J Wilkinson (at the Royal Staffordshire Pottery) bought the Jenny Lind printing plates and continued production of this pattern.
